Mr. Xxxxxx,
I was stunned to see how badly the ratings have plummeted since my departure from Savannah. The fall 2006 night shift dropped to 7.1 from the previous fall's 8.1 and the spring 2007 2.4 was an utter collapse from last spring's 11.8.

It really is a shame that management's neglect to pay me what was agreed upon during my interview, even though I begged them on 4 separate occasions to honor the agreement (I learned a valuable lesson on trust and to always get EVERYTHING in writing ), caused me enormous financial setbacks. Not to mention the disturbing fact that after 12 months, they refused to offer me even a $1 raise after I (with Don Scott's guidance, and his belief in my abilities, to give me a lot of freedom on-air) provided WIXV with two #1 books and the best spring ratings in their 20 year history.

It is tragically ironic that if you talk to Don Scott and especially Tim Sheehan (over 40 years of radio experience between them), they will give my on-air abilities fervent endorsements...yet I am now a licensed banker and WIXV's ratings are in the latrine.

Yes, it would be a humorous story, except for the fact that everyone lost. Sometimes irony isn't funny, sometimes it's just sad.

The best,
CAVEMAN
